Our facility stands as a testament to the Shire of Ashburton’s commitment to sustainability, local impact and a true circular economy. The PRWMF goes beyond traditional waste disposal by recovering and recycling as many waste types as possible.

Over the past six months alone, our dedicated team has diverted more than 3,500 tonnes of materials from landfill, giving these resources a second life and reducing the environmental footprint in our community.

At the core of our mission is the vision to process all waste generated in the Pilbara within the Pilbara. By continuously expanding our range of recycling capabilities, including challenging materials like tyres, conveyor belts, and hydrocarbon solids, we’re building a local, closed-loop system that creates economic value from waste. This approach benefits local businesses, provides job opportunities and strengthens our regional resilience.
